Speaker Eugene Lee at the BGS Global Leadership Summit #gls2k17 #bgsleaders

Two of our Beta Gamma Sigma student officers have the opportunity to attend the Global Leadership Summit on November 2-5 at Orlando, Florida. This is an exciting opportunity and they will share their experience with us upon arrival.

#THROWBACKTHURSDAY On November 3rd, two members (Claudia Belda and Debby Kigungu) of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society flew to Dallas, TX to attend the BGS Global Leadership Summit and represent CSUB. During this weekend-long summit, they were joined by over 300 other BGS members from all over the world. This was an opportunity for them to not only sharpen their leadership skills, but also network amongst others. The summit had its own app that students could download to... get notifications throughout the event. Prior to attending the summit, each member was asked to take the Gallup Strength Finder Test. The results of the test were five areas/strengths that were specific to each individual. They were able to hear from a variety of guest speakers that challenged them, through a series of group exercises, to make these attributes of leadership part of their lifestyle.
