Well folks Glamis has been a whole lot of fun, hanging out with @justgetnby most the Slama family, the Ferris family, as well as the @sandworks family this weekend. The boys all partied til they passed out and we loved every minute of it! We had to send off our Utah BFD family with some SoCal hospitality and got a bunch of tacos from a local Brawley spot. Helped out our local tap house @redswhitesandbrewsramona get thier fire pits up and running for when SD County allows them to open up after months of COVID19 BS. We cut out the stainless years ago, as well as most of thier metal signage on our @arclightdynamics plasma table. Welded some sides on the trays to keep the rocks in place. A couple snaps of the last few days of TIG welding on this fine #tigtuesday evening. These lower arms are some of the gnarliest things I've welded up here. All pivots are 1" @fkrodends wssx uniballs, all 4130, multipass welded, all clamshell seems are MIGd internally as well as the main shock spine. Got a few more details to work on and then hit the other side and double check my test upper arm before we do it again out of more 4130 plate. The front compliments the rear nicel...y, but the rear end deserves another post for another day. Little #migmonday action. Some workflow on these chassis. New PRO series suspension is just about wrapped. Cycles clean and we went with a truss style upper shock mount with fully contained 4130 bungs, as opposed to the tab and tube style mounts on previous years. Today was a full day of TIG welding on the lowers so thatll be a #tigtuesday post lol.
