I’m learning through this #dressember2020 that I have not been a very conscientious shopper. Am I supporting companies that use child labor? Something to consider before making purchases moving forward. #Repost @dressember with @get_repost One common type of human trafficking is forced labor. Forced labor is when a person is forced to complete work or perform a service against their will, or out of fear of being punished. Often, workers in forced labor are not paid fairly, if at all, for their work. Children as young as 10 years old are vulnerable to this. We believe that all people should be able to work in a fair and safe environment. That’s why we participate in @dressember.

I wore a dress today. I will wear a dress every day in December to raise awareness and funds to aids efforts in preventing, rescue and aftercare of human trafficking. See the link in my bio for more information.
