Gang, Here's an update to this weekend's non-race here in San Diego. Everyone is welcome to come out and participate. There is no specific launch site, so get ...on the water at any launch spot that fits your needs. The Grom run will start close to the Bahia (Ventura Cove) @ approx 8:30am. The short course will start at the same location @ approx 9:30am. The long course will start @ approx 11:30/12. It will start and end in the ocean, just outside the jetty. Orange starter buoys will be positioned to rally everyone to the start. There is jetty construction, so mind all marker buoys and be careful when paddling in or out. Both the short and long course will have staggered starts similar to our Squirrels, Rabbits and Coyotes races. This levels out the playing field and creates a more dynamic run. All turns will be left turns. You will be responsible for your own time. Bright clothing, extra paddle and a PFD are highly recommended. I will post any updates.
