UPDATE ON BETHEL REOPENING The COVID Reopening Committee has come up with a thoughtful list of guidelines for the reopening of Bethel to in-person worship. Most important is everyone’s safety. So we need a team of 7 volunteers to make in-person worship happen: Greeter (1)Takes temperatures and guides people to sign in with a check-off waiver Usher (2)Guides people to the entrance, helps them with seating, is responsible for the offering plates, and supervises dismissal ... Cleaning (2)One person cleans often-touched areas during the service and the other serves as bathroom monitor Video tech (2)Helps to record the service If you’re ready to come back in person and are able to do one of these jobs, please call the church office to sign up. We’re still working on being able to livestream the service on Sunday morning in a format that allows everyone access at the same time. This technological undertaking is a challenge; however, we feel we have all the right equipment now. The next step is to practice with the equipment and determine whether we should worship in the sanctuary or the Parish Hall. Finally, we must know how many people are ready to come back to in-person worship. Please remember there will be no singing, sharing of the peace, Holy Communion, or coffee hour. Please email or call the office to add your name to the list of folks who are ready to come back to worship in person at Bethel. See more

Online service - October 25, 2020 Jesus said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'" Matthew 22:34-46

ALL SAINTS DAY- BELL RINGING FOR THOSE WHO HAVE PASSED Last year we did a special thing on All Saints Day; Ann rang a bell (chime on the organ) after each name was read of a person who died in the past year (Nov. 2019-now). We didn't just list Bethel members who have died, we also listed other family members and close friends of our Bethel family. If you would like someone added to the list please have their name in to the Church office (264-5385) by Tuesday, Oct. 27th.

SAVE THE DATE! PASTOR MYTCH’S INSTALLATION, NOVEMBER 8TH Pastor Mytch has been working with the Synod office on her formal installation service here at Bethel, and the date has been set: Sunday, November 8, at 3 p.m. At this point, there’s no telling what form that service will take, but we know that God will be the guide in all the details. So mark your calendars now! We want to make this an especially joyous day for Pr. Mytch.
