Hello Past Mentors :) Thank you for all the work you all did as mentors and all the support you all have given since then. Here is our yearly campaign with Cal Big Give to raise money for all of our operations. CSM has grown since its creation in 2014. So here are some of our initiatives for the past year (2019-2020). - Scheduler: We revamped up our Scheduler site! And with any improvement in the UI is a better experience for the students and the mentors. Check it out the we...bsite at scheduler.csmentors.org - Custom Sections: This initiative was driven from multiple mentors with a similar goal of creating sections where the mentor can better understand their students based on some background they choose to identify with. Some are EOP sections (first generation, low income, and historically underrepresented), NPE sections (No Prior Experience), FIS sections (Female Identifying Student). - Post Midterm Treats: Apples and oranges instead of cookies! Mentor Teaching Supplies: A marker and folder to hold their discussion sheets. There are so many amazing ideas everyone has and a lot need some financial backing to start. We'd appreciate any donations! Big Give is 24 hours long, starting today (Wednesday March 11) at 9:00 PM! Want to have your voice heard by EECS faculty, staff, and the Chairs? The EECS Department welcomes you to fill out the EECS Undergraduate Survey here: https://berkeley.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9KSsq7gGNA8Wb53 The EECS Department has created the 2019-2020 EECS Undergraduate Survey so you can provide input and feedback. This is a great opportunity for you to make a real impact in your classes, student life, and campus culture as well as share your personal experiences in EE/CS... with the department anonymously. A team of students from community-based organizations will be reviewing all of your responses and providing feedback as well as pushing for changes to be made at the Faculty Retreat. In addition, once you complete the survey, you can choose to enter a prize drawing to win one of fifteen (15) $10 Amazon gift cards! Just make sure to fill out the form at the end of the survey. Your response is completely anonymous. We encourage you to respond openly and honestly! Additionally, if you or a representative from your student organization would like to get involved, please fill out this form (https://forms.gle/xNG4eXmTjkvF1YsS7).
