Dear Benicia Fastpitch Families - Again with a heavy heart and in lieu of further information coming our way, we are going to cancel all games for 2 weeks. We were hoping against hope that we could continue some normalcy for the girls but with the school closures just announced we find ourselves in the position of having to do the same. Please keep in touch with your coaches and VP's of your divisions and as always be safe. We have lots of fond memories to make when we all... get together again. Dear Benicia Fastpitch Families We have been monitoring the events surrounding us with the Corona virus. It is something we do not want to take lightly. The Governor has banned gatherings of 250 or more. We wish to err on the side of caution and with heavy hearts cancel our opening day ceremonies and reschedule our pictures from this Saturday to our Make-Up Day of Sunday, April 19th. We will get a new schedule out to you as soon as possible. We will, however, play our ga...mes! As of this moment, city fields are open! We want the girls to play ball! We will be modifying our routines to be sensitive to the events around us. Please, if your child is not feeling well, keep them home. It is better to miss one game. Coaches will be instructed to wipe down equipment used by the girls and eliminate high fives after the game for the time being. Also, we would like to ban sunflower seeds for right now so that no one is spitting them out onto the ground along with cautioning your child not to share water bottles. We are also wiping out bleachers and dugouts with disinfectant as an added precaution. Thank you for your understanding!
