It's okay to talk about mental health! Want a psychologically safe world? Don't stay quiet - it reinforces the stigma. 1. Signs - nervousness, anxiety, overwhelm, withdrawal, lack of interest, excessive sleeping, lethargy, inability to focus, reduction in articulateness - increased ...time word searching, irritability, inability to sleep, missed deadlines, lack of productivity, obsessive behavior, excessive drinking or drugging, breathing & stomach problems, distinct changes... 2. Questions - Are you okay, I've noticed ___? It's okay to not be okay. Are you safe? Do you have a plan? We do not plant the idea of suicide - directly ask. I'd like to support you, can we do ___? Would it help if I made an appointment with a doctor for you? Don't say "let me know if I can help" - instead make a direct offer of specific help. Ask at least 3 ways. 3.
