Children’s House has an opening for a Preschool Teacher. We are a Montessori inspired preschool program serving children ages 2 - 5 years of age. Applicants must have 24 units ECE/CD including core classes plus 16 GE units; must be able to pass a live scan, and have their immunizations current. A love for children, learning and positive interpersonal skills are a must. Duties include supporting and caring for children throughout the day, helping to develop curriculum, garde...ning, facilitating arts and crafts, leading circles, assessing children along with parent/teacher conferences and cleaning and maintaining a beautiful space for children to learn and thrive in. We are looking for a team player to share the day with two co-workers and up to 24 children. Children’s House is located in the small town of Briceland which is 6 miles west of Redway and is nestled on 85 acres in rural Southern Humboldt, CA.
