Dr. Juarez works at a teenage rehab facility and plans on ...starting a food orchard and garden to help with their rehabilitation! It's time for another seed swap at ENVISION Urban Agricultural Fair. This one's brought to you by the San Diego Food System Alliance, Slow Food Urban SD and the International Rescue Committee, and the seed exchange is hosted by us, The SanDiego Seed Stewards and the SdSeedLibrary. Bring prepackaged non gmo seeds for exchanging or you can package your seeds up at our station. Queen Bee Hilary Kearny of Girl Next Door Honey will be with is along with the usual suspects and a ...few new faces. Sd seed librarian DaleTron opens the stage at 1:30 with a talk about why heirloom, and seed sovereignty. Hilary Kearny has a prime spot and speaks at 3. Free and Family Friendly, the fair is in a beautiful open air locale in down town San Diego. There will be live music, Food trucks, chef demos, food stands, a mini farmers market, vendors, prizes and local celebrities. Come on down this Saturday from 1 to 4 pm and don't miss out on the seed swap action!
