Beauty Tip of the Day.... Summer colours for day and night! Bought this beautiful colors today for $65! What a great deal! It has everything I need, from brow, eyeshadow, blushes, bronzing, highlighter and lip gloss. I can't wait to try all these beautiful colors. In addition, bought Nars liquid foundation, pressed powder and 24 eyeshadow primer which works magic! I will keep you guys posted. I will post lots of photos once applied!... WAYS TO VOLUMIZE YOUR HAIR! The first, most obvious thing you can do to volumize hair is to use a volumizing shampoo and conditioner! These have a LIGHTER FORMULA than most other shampoos and conditioners, MEANING that they won't weigh hair down, causing it to lie flat against the scalp. They will effectively clean and moisturize hair, while also leaving it light and bouncy! 1) When shampooing, use enough product to create a lather. Make sure to massage the shampoo into the s...calp, as this will help provide volume once the hair is dry. 2) Apply conditioner from the MID-LENGTHS of the hair to the tips. Applying too much conditioner to the roots may make it look greasy and flat. 3) Apply a volumizing mousse. After applying, you can either allow hair to air dry naturally, scrunching to achieve voluminous waves and curls, or you can blow dry the hair for a sleeker look with added lift. SUMMER BEAUTY TIPS! Summer has kicked off indeed! remember, less is more! When it’s just sweltering out, you might just want to wear less makeup. Get creative with the minimal look to get you through the hottest days.... POWDER, powder, powder! Whenever you apply a cream or liquid product, make sure you set it with powder using power brush! I find this is true of my routine year-round but even more so during the warmer months. Keeping a pressed powder compact in your bag is an excellent way to freshen up your face after being outside, too! Consider CREAM/gel blushes. These kinds of blushes tend to last longerblushes that are designed to stain will last longer than your average powder blush, because the sweat won’t break it down as easily. Find a good SUNSCREEN that works under makeup. Ideally, you want a sunscreen with a matte or semi-matte finish. You don’t want anything greasy or that takes forever to absorb. It’s also important to give it enough time to sink in before applying any base makeup to ensure the makeup sits on the skin well. Try a TINTED MOISTURIZER! Make sure it matches your skin tone. This is one of my favorite products for the summer, because it also contain SPF15, so you can quickly apply it and achieve sheer coverageenough to even out minor imperfections and give skin an overall more polished appearance. Power of Mascara! I LOVE mascara, especially if it's the right one!......and how do we find the right one!? simple, be attentive and don't waste your hard earned $$$. When looking for mascara, remember that it shouldn't be too thick, too dry, clump or stick after 3-4 coats! TIP OF THE DAY 3 Ways to Get Super Soft Feet at Home! Sandal season is in high gear this summer! which means your feet need to look fabulous every day. Here are three DIY strategies to make your soles soft and smooth!... 1. GOT MILK? Soak your feet in a large bowl of warm whole milk. The lactic acid will slough off rough spots and make your skin feel extremely soft. 2. LOCK IN MOISTURE Slather your feet with a rich foot cream, then slip on a pair of cotton socks. Wear the socks for at least 20 minutes - you can even sleep with them on to lock mega moisture into your skin. 3. BUFF DAILY Keep a pumice stone or foot file in your shower so that every day you can tackle rough spots and cracked heels.
