Bear Valley Snowmobile

‘Twas 2 weeks before Christmas and all through the town people were stirring even a mouse!! The snowmobiles were loaded and ready to tow, snow is what we need because we’re ready to go!! Mother Nature needs to come through and make snowflakes fall so we can have a beautiful winter wonderland for all!! Everyone do your best snow dance and let’s help Mother Nature!!! Our tentative opening date is December 18th snow permitting. So start dancing!!!!

FYI all grooming has been suspended and Spicer Sno Park has been shut down.

So today I was out of the office and a renter!!! I took my daughter and 2 granddaughters, out for a amazing day,the groomed trail was awesome!! ( thank you Donnie the groomer) The new 2020 Grand Touring 4 stroke snowmobiles are amazing!!!! Everyone needs to do this at least once in their lifetime!!! Go online and make reservations, the snow is great and trail and landscape is the best!!!!

We have snow and the sleds are out!! The Bear Valley Village Trail will open this Saturday and the Lake Alpine Trail should open Friday December 20th!!! Let’s ride!!!

Well this short winter is now over for us, we are now closed for the season. Thank you to everyone who came and enjoyed this short winter with us and everyone have a great summer and we hope to see everyone next winter and of course think snow ! Well maybe not until December!

Well it was a short season for us at Lake Alpine but I would like to thank everyone who was able to enjoy the Lake Alpine Trail with us. Those of you who tried but Mother Nature didn’t cooperate I hope to see you next winter, fingers crossed next year we’ll have a regular season. Just a reminder our Bear Valley Village Trail is still open, so if you want to take a ride with beautiful weather come see us!!

Rain stopped sun is out!! Tomorrow is our last day for Lake Alpine Trail and I have some 2 hours left. The trail is being groomed for the last time this season as I type. I had someone go out to the Highlands turn off and they said the creeks and river are the most spectacular they have ever seen as well as many water falls! Miracle March is here!!!!!

For over 10 years the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation has come and we’ve had the privilege to give these amazing kids rides on snowmobiles. We have great volunteers,the Bear Valley Sheriff, Bear Valley locals and our staff that have fun putting smiles on the faces of these amazing kids, staff and family members. Thank you Rob and crew and we’ll see you next winter!!

We got SNOW!! Bear Valley Village Trail is open and tomorrow the Lake Alpine Trail should be open!! Sun is coming out, it’s a beautiful day!!

Winter has arrived!!! We are now going to be open 7 days a week!! The Lake Alpine Trail should be good starting Saturday March 3rd and the Bear Valley Village Trail will be open (first time this season) Saturday as well!!! Come have some winter fun!!!

To all you snowmobilers we got snow and a full pull groom!!!!! All the way to the top of the pass and into Highlands!!! Sun is out and it’s a beautiful day come up and ride!!! FYI there is a tree down right past Tryon Meadows but was pushed to the side. Always remember conditions change in a minute, ride with a second sled, be safe and of course have FUN!! I know today everyone is going to have BIG smiles !! Take lots of pictures and post them!

FYI our website is having difficulties and shows all of our trails closed. The Lake Alpine Trail is open for 2 hour rentals and we are offering 1 hour rentals at Lake Alpine until the Bear Valley Village Trail opens.

We are opening the Lake Alpine Trail for 2 hour rentals and for those who just want to rent for a hour now is the time because we are doing our 1 hour rentals on the Lake Alpine Trail until the Bear Valley Village Trail opens! You can make reservations for the 2 hour ride on our website or right from Facebook if you’re on a desktop computer!! So come up this weekend and have some winter fun and of course keep up the snow dancing !

So sky is getting dark and it’s Cold!!! Snow should be coming and we hope to open Lake Alpine Trail Saturday and maybe the Bear Valley Village Trail to!!! Stay tuned and keep dancing we got this!!!

So we had a great season for our Lake Alpine Trail and thank you to all our customers who got to enjoy the trail this season. The Bear Valley Village Trail is still open for a couple more weeks!! Caltrans is moving right along on HWY 4 !

So the calendar may say it's spring but Mother Nature says it's still winter!!
