Inspecting trails after two great weekends of skiing over 6 days, in preparation for our next opening this Friday - Sunday, Dec 4-6, 2020. Wahoo!

Snow conditions keep exceeding expectations so we are going to open tomorrow (Nov. 26th) with 10+km of groomed trails for cross country skiing and snowshoeing from 9am to 1pm. As a way of saying "thanks", trail passes & rentals will be 50% off tomorrow only. In addition we will have a kids tubing hill open too. The store will close tomorrow at 2pm, but regular hours of 9am-5pm for the rest of the weekend. Check our daily trail report in the morning for details.... Gobble-Gobble

We've got some exciting news to share. Bear Valley Adventure Company received 2nd place in the 2020 USA Today Readers Choice as Best Cross Country Ski Resorts in N. America! It was an honor to be included in the initial Top 20 selection, but an absolute joy to be voted as #2 by our guests and industry friends. During the contest we received a number of calls and emails from people sharing fond memories of cross country skiing in Bear Valley. Between the great terrain at ...both the downhill ski area and cross country center, spectacular scenery, and fewer crowds, Bear Valley is truly one of the best places to ski. But of course we all already knew that ;-). Thanks for your support! It was thrilling to open last weekend with 10km of trails with stellar ski conditions. The staff are currently working hard to open even more trails for our next opening, which might be as early as Thanksgiving Day. Stay tuned for BVAC updates.
