Special celebration! Yesterday, some of our staff members got to celebrate Mrs. Maxey’s new job, her birthday, and Mrs. Butler’s birthday! Even though they’re cleaning out their classrooms and moving to new opportunities, there is so much love and joy to go around!

We can’t forget about senior Jordan Thacker! Jordan has attended Bloomington Christian since first grade and has participated in student council, basketball, and football. His favorite memories will be basketball game days. Coach Steven has had the biggest impact on him during high school and his favorite subject is science. After high school, Jordan will attend RCC to study psychology before transferring to a four-year university!

Here’s a parent video of last night’s drive-thru graduation! It was such a special time and so much fun to celebrate with everyone!

And to close out our parade, YiYi Li! YiYi Hesitant to Bloomington Christian since 11th grade and her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13. Her favorite memory is the senior trip. This is Bracken has influence through the most throughout high school and her favorite subject is math. She intends to study business at the university level after high school!

Up next is Scott Su! Scott has attended Bloomington Christian School since 11th grade and participated in football at his previous school. Psalm 37:3 is his favorite Bible verse and going to watch Shakespearience is one of his favorite memories. Mrs. Lily impacted him the most during high school and his favorite subject is English. After high school, Scott will study economics at the University of California, Irvine!

Up next is Kevin Zhang! Kevin has attended Bloomington Christian School since 11th grade and has participated in football at his previous school. His favorite Bible verse is Psalm 37:3 and his favorite memory is traveling on the bus to the Shakespearience field trip. Mrs. Lily has impacted him the most during high school and his favorite subject is English. After high school, Kevin will study economics at University of California, Irvine!

Your next senior is Kyle McGilvra! Kyle has attended Bloomington Christian School since preschool! He has participated in video game club, baseball, and baseball with the Newmark Little League. His favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13 and his favorite memory is playing in the playoff game two years ago. His parents have influenced him the most during high school and his favorite subject is computer science. After high school, Kyle intends to study computer science at a community college and California Baptist University where he has been awarded the Dean’s Scholarship for a total of $50,000 over four years!

Coming up next, Lauren Morelli! Lauren has attended Bloomington Christian school since kindergarten! She has participated in student ambassador‘s, student council, summer daycamp, softball, club softball, and volunteered with the stater brothers breast Cancer walk and the bridge church. Her favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 41:13. Her favorite memories include traveling to away games in the bus or van, decorating Mrs. Cihak’s Christmas tree in junior high, walkathon, Eighth grad...e grad night, senior retreat, fall festival, homecoming football games, Friday chapels, competition cheer, worship pizza parties, singing Hannah Montana songs with Mrs. Bracken at eighth grade retreat, softball practices, and team banquets. Mrs. Brown had the biggest impact on her during high school and her favorite subject is English. After high school, Lauren will cheer for RCC and pursue a career in child education! See more

Your next senior is Lelah Boyd! Layla has attended Bloomington Christian school since preschool! She has participated in peer tutoring, student council, student ambassadors, volleyball, and shades of blue aviation program. Her Favorite Bible verse is one Thessalonians 5:17 and her favorite memory is going to La Michoacana with her teammates before games. Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Cihak, and Mrs. Haikey Have impacted her the most during high school and her favorite subject is social studies. Lelah will attend California State University, Long Beach this fall to major in social work and minor in sign language and psychology!
