After a long hiatus, bringing back an old habit to kick off the new year, new decade, and new cycle!

Farewell sweet studio! I’m grateful for my time here, it was a good run.

Today's the day that we clean out the old space and take it west to Emeryville. It's been nearly 7 years on Howe Street. It was a time of tremendous growth for me as a person and a Pilates instructor and I've been blessed to have many wonderful teachers in the form of clients. This morning as I face packing my livelihood up and entrust it to a moving crew I feel a great sense of gratitude to my clients who have supported me with encouragement and the best form of praise - they keep showing up! Off we go to Emeryville everybody!

Feeling a deep sense of appreciation for David Rosencrans and his team at Gratz Industries. They went above and beyond to get me some key pieces so that we’d be ready for operations on day one of the new East Bay Pilates. Great people, great service, great equipment - that’s Gratz!

Before there was exercise, there was dance-music. The original exercise, the original community sustainer, the original healer. All around the world, all across humanity.

Just as we got word that our days were numbered in our tranquil little studio, we found out about an exciting new opportunity. After a couple weeks of sorting out the details, we are ready to share the good news - as my long time colleagues Krisna and Robert embark on a new chapter in their Pilates adventure down in Pasadena, I will take over where they left off at East Bay Pilates in Emeryville. It’s an exciting time of expansion and I look forward to collaborating with a great team of instructors and all the enthusiastic Pilates lovers who train at Bayside Pilates and East Bay Pilates. Here’s to new beginnings!
