The BPE PTA is super proud of all our Stingrays and the amazing effort they all put into the virtual jog-a-thon. Despite these challenging times our kids gave it their all, preserved and succeeded!!!! A special thank you to our jog-a-thon committee and our community sponsors. All of YOU is what makes our school extra special even in these unique times! The funds raised are providing IXL, Raz kids, spelling city, scholastics news, San Diego children’s choir lessons and so much more to our kids!! Enjoy a few photos of our amazing BPE runners!!!

BPE Student Council Holiday Toy Drive is TODAY and Tomorrow. 2pm- 3pm in the 3 minute zone. If you are able, please stop by and drop off a new, unwrapped toy for our community in need. Any age is great and nothing is to small. Hope to see you there. Please wear a mask. Thank you!

Can you believe it?! The Virtual Jog-a-Thon is THIS WEEKEND! Donations need to be in by Sunday December 13th. If you've created your site please be sure to share any sweet, encouraging comments loved ones have left your Stingray.... Remember to download the We Run the World app. Features are being added throughout the week so by the time you run on December 11th, 12th, or 13th you’ll be able to: Warm up and cool down with videos from Ms. Woodling Take and upload photos Track your run Access all sorts of important information! There will be options to track your run using the app or manually uploading results using a screenshot of something that captures your time (i.e., smart watch, activity monitor, stopwatch, phone app, etc.). Yesterday was so much fun at the Holiday Store! We still have a ton of great items available and hope to see you today in the back parking lot behind Sprouts!

Trick or Treat Drive Thru THIS FRIDAY, October 23rd from 2:30pm to 3:30pm. Bay Park Teachers and staff will be on Erie Street in costume to pass out treats to our kiddos. Your kiddo will STAY IN THE CAR and teachers and staff will place a treat into their bucket or pillow case through a rolled down window. Kids are encouraged to come in costume too but will need to stay in the car. We may not be able to have a Halloween Carnival but we can still have a little Halloween FUN!

Thanks to all who came to costumes, cash and Kona on Friday! Fall fundraiser totals will be announced soon. We appreciate all who donated despite these challenging times.

Congrats parents! We have conquered the first six weeks of distance learning. We have all adapted and tried our hardest. Here are a few photos of our resilient, adaptable and creative kids! This isn’t easy but we are all in this together. Keep up the great work BPE!

How cool is this...one of our own BPE kids will be featured in a book that is coming out very soon. The book has a message about self confidence, inclusion and kindness. Thank you to those who came out to the Feed the Stingray event. He was a Hungry stingray! We had about 40 cars come through and donate. THANK YOU! The kids and adults who stopped by also enjoyed a sweet treat provided by the PTA. It felt great to be at school! There is still plenty of time to donate and help keep the programs we love at the school like Raz kids, music, art, theater, and field trips (virtual and maybe next semester in person) going!
