The Bay Club 14.01.2021

In today's world, it's normal to have moments of stress that can feel overwhelming. These F O U R yoga poses are sure to provide some much needed relief. First - take a deep, calming breath to ease your mind. Then, move into one of these relaxing shapes: 1 Child's Pose: Come onto hands and knees with your knees placed hip-width distance apart. Extend your arms out as you slowly send your hips back towards your heels. Let your chest melt forward and continue to breathe dee...ply as you feel a gentle stretch in your hips, back and shoulders! 2Malsana/Yogi Squat: Start in Tadasana (Mountain pose) with your feet hips width distance apart and your heels slightly pointing in, toes slightly pointing out. Slowly bend you knees to lower yourself into this deep squat while pressing your elbows against your inner thighs. Draw up through your lower belly and try to keep the majority of your weight in your heels. BREATHE and focus on lengthening through your spine. 3Seated Forward Fold: Sit with your legs reaching forward. Feel free to keep as much of a bend in your knees as you need, while reaching your hands forward towards your toes focusing on a hinge at the hips. You'll feel a deep stretch in your back and through your hamstrings and down to your calves. 4Savasana: Arguably the post relaxing pose of all!
