Hi my beloved patrons of Bay Area Stage - Like everyone else, we are waiting for the magic moment; and I'm looking forward to welcoming you all back to the theatre when that moment comes. Until then, stay mentally and creatively active. Be well. Love and positive thoughts. ~ Jeff Lowe - Managing Director -

Dear Bay Area Stage supporter, In light of the international health crisis, I want you to know that the health and well-being of our patrons and volunteers is of the utmost importance. Bay Area Stage Theatre is following the City of Vallejo’s directive to cancel mass gatherings. The Bay Area Stage Theatre schedule of performances is suspended until further notice.... Our entire calendar of performances will be adjusted to resume after April 30, 2020, with dates being reevaluated over the upcoming weeks to align with the City of Vallejo’s direction. We will post a new calendar on all electronic platforms as soon as possible. We ask you to be patient with us as we work to reschedule our programming based on new and updated information from the CDC, as well as the Federal and City governments. Thank you - Jeff Lowe Producing Artistic Director Bay Area Stage Productions

Dear patrons of Bay Area Stage, Thank you for the encouraging messages and uplifting thoughts! We will weather this storm together! Although it was necessary to delay the opening of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, we are confident that our world's wounds will soon heal, and all will begin to move forward in the later part of April. Broadway is more than a name and the sum of its letters. It is the chevron we as performing artists and artist mentors proudly bear to inspire great hopes ...and dreams; both present and future. Bay Area Stage Theatre on Broadway in Vallejo, strives to meet the challenges head-on by producing cutting-edge theatrical presentations featuring both local and regional talent. Our youth program provides educational opportunities for young performers in acting, singing, and dance; and also instills strong life skills in focus, commitment and follow-through. We are all going through some rough moments right now, and I wrestled with myself about asking for help, but after investing so much into our upcoming show, refunding all our pre-sold tickets, and going dark for an as yet undetermined amount of time, our little theatre company is broke. Now is the time I must reach out to our friends. Rent is coming, dark clouds are looming, and we really need your help. Your donation of any amount will help to ensure our ability to rise above the many new problems that we now have been tasked with. Thank you for your support. We accept donations online through Network for Good. Please follow this link to help BAS: https://www.networkforgood.org/donati/ExpressDonation.aspx Or call: (707) 561-1960 to make an immediate donation. My very best regards, Jeff Lowe - Producing Artistic Director. Bay Area Stage Productions is a Federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. An Irish song from Kith & Kin at Bay Area Stage Theatre - Apparently ;-) , it is a little known fact that most traditional Irish songs were, in reality, written by Russian Jewish immagrants! :-)

Does anybody have a queen-sized BRASS bed headboard and/or footboard just clogging up the garage? If so, I'd love to come get it for our Cat on a Hot Tin Roof set :-) Drop me a message :-)
