I’ve been creating new pieces these past weeks. This jacket made in goat skin draws on a job that I had many years ago at a leather company. Working with a talented sewing room, I learned what it means to design. To make something right you need to have an understanding of how things are put together. Building a leather jacket takes a lot more than cutting and sewing. The little tricks needed to make a jacket require a good amount of time and understanding. If you’d like a jacket, let me know!

My classic pouch styles are going bye-bye. I'm saying goodbye to a majority of my styles to make room for entirely new ideas! So get your pouches now- these are a terrific gift idea as well, so get a headstart on holiday gifting!

Home Comes First. I've been gathering together lots of new product for the shop, with Northern California always at the center of my choices. At this point we all know how important home is. The new reality that we find ourselves in has me thinking about what is important right now, and what can wait. To me, home is a place where I keep the things that are most important to me. A watercolor done by mom when she was visiting the south of Fra...nce. A sweetgrass basket, woven by a master basketmaker in the traditional Gullah way. A gardenia bush flowering outside the window. A gardenia, freshly cut and placed with care in a small Japanese vase, a gift from my sister-in-law. These are the things that make a home, in my opinion. I recently met Diana Stock who, along with her sister Michelle, have created a collection of extraordinary candles under the label Studio Stockhome. I'm very choosy about candles. What they've created ticks all the boxes. Made in Oakland using essential oils and glass blown in the US, I'm really excited to share these with you. I've linked to the fresh scented pomelo candle, but I'm a big fan of all the scents that I've brought into the shop. Try one for yourself and you'll agree.
