#Repost @mypt2go Mom thumb: when it hurts to pick up your kids. (This happens to dads too!) . It’s called DeQuervain’s Tenosynovitis if you wanna get technical. It’s from overuse, and picking up your kids with your hands under their armpits is the perfect move to piss off this tendon. ... . To help get rid of it, there’s a couple things to try out at home first. If that fails, get in the clinic ASAP. With tendon issues, the faster you jump on it, the easier it is to get rid of it. . 1. Try to avoid picking up your kids with your thumbs up. Tuck those thumbs. Pick them up by the bum. Get them closer to you. Lots of options depending on the kid’s size! . 2. Try out this exercise! Going up, get help from your other handthis is the exact move that tends to piss it off. Then, slowly lower it without help. Going down might be uncomfortable but shouldn’t be super painful. Again, going up, get help from the other hand. This type of exercise is known as eccentrics, or for the gym crew, negatives. See more

T-spine, or upper to mid back is a lot of the time the source of other issues such as pain in the neck, shoulders, low back, hips, etc. The phone that you are watching this on is causing you to develops forward head posture . What’s the difference between cocaine and refined white sugar? One is much more deadlier. ... One is much more addictive. One is much more brain altering. One is rampant in usage in our youngest of children. One is totally acceptable, subsidized, and promoted behind billions of advertising dollars (especially to children and minorities). And guess what? All clues point to refined white sugar. The one in your cabinet, in your foods, and in your drinks. A high-potency street drug by any other name. It is only our arbitrary culture which defines it as a ‘food’ instead. Look at what it does to the brain as compared to cocaine under a CAT scan. Look at how it hijacks and manipulates the brains pleasure centers for long-term/nearly permanent changes. Look at how additive it is to anyone attempting to ween themselves off of it. Look at how it has been placed in nearly every processed food and drink possible under different disguise names to keep us in the dark about it. Look at how it controls the minds and actions of children. People literally use phrases like ‘cracked out’ when their kids had too much refined sugar and are acting crazy and can hardly be settled. Define a drug again?? Get off the dope family. If not for you at least for the kids who developing minds are more vulnerable to sugar’s mind altering effects. Transition to more natural sweeteners. Gradually detox and cleanse the body.
