Huber Diaz has an Easter Week Devotional to share with us!
COVID-19 Update In these unprecedented times, our thoughts are with everyone personally affected by the spread of COVID-19 and we are grateful for everyone working on the frontlines to halt the spread of the virus. Our focus today is the same as it’s always been, to provide exceptional service and provide relief from anxiety for our clients. That has not changed, we are open and still working for you.... However, with the extension of the filing deadline and the recommendations of Federal, State, and Local governments, we are reducing our hours. This is being done to ensure that the staff of Bandy & Associates remains healthy. Our office will be closing at five during the week and will be open from nine to one on Saturday. What does this mean for you and your tax return? We will continue to work on returns on a first in-first out basis. The normal three week turnaround is being extended to six or eight weeks. The COVID-19 situation is changing rapidly every day and we will be open as long as the authorities allow us. We will continue to keep you informed of any changes. Together we will make it through these unprecedented times. Every hand we don’t shake must become a phone call we make. Every inch and every foot of distance we put between ourselves and another must become a thought about how we could help that other should the need arise. - Ms. Miles-Trinity Church-NYC

According to our Taxes and Growth Model, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act would: - Grow GDP by 1.7 percent over the long-term - Grow wages 1.5 percent over the long-te...rm - Create 339,000 new full-time equivalent jobs - Cost $1.47 trillion on a static basis - Cost $448 billion on a dynamic basis These results are muted by the temporary nature of many components of the tax package. If the entire plan were enacted permanently, it would increase long-run GDP by 4.7 percent, raise wages by 3.3 percent and create 1.6 million new full-time equivalent jobs. However, the long-run cost of the bill would be $2.7 trillion on a static basis ($1.4 trillion on a dynamic basis) over the next decade. Stay tuned for a complete report detailing these dynamic results later today. http://tax.foundation/2B7L6TF
