Meet Stanley #A5344590, a tricolor 4yr old, 58lb, pit mix. Stanley was adopted from Baldwin Park in April but returned due to fencing issues. Stanley walks great on leash, loves to chase a bouncy ball around, he’s super sweet with people and prefers that he be your only 4 legged furry friend in the home. He loves his person, has a medium energy level, and if there are children in the home they have to be middle school age and older. He’s a wonderful love to have around! If Stanley fits into your home please visit us at www.animalcare.lacounty.gov and click on the Baldwin Park tab to schedule an adoption appointment. #DACCares

This giant is Trooper #A5375272. Trooper is a beautiful, tall, long legged Shepherd who was found as a stray and weighs a whopping 98lbs! He is super friendly, doesn’t realize how big he is, will jump up on you, and thinks you’re a litter mate and will use his mouth when he plays. Trooper is a wonderful dog, he requires a very strong handler, someone with experience and someone who can focus on training for him. Because, of Trooper’s size, and his mouthy behavior he must go to an adult only home. If Trooper sounds like the dog for you, please visit us at www.animalcare.lacounty.gov and click on the Baldwin Park tab to schedule an adoption appointment. #DACCares

Karla #A5369092 is a wonderful dog! She was originally with us in June, adopted on 7/22 and returned because a member of the family had allergies. Even through all that she has remained a wonderful resident who we would love to see be adopted. Its recommended Karla be in a home with large calm dogs, she doesn’t care for little dogs, and if there are children in the home, they should be 8yrs of age and older. Karla is about 3yrs old and weighs over 60lbs. Look how adorable she looks playing with the bubbles!! If you’re looking for a big dog, and Karla sounds like she would fit in with your family, please give us a call or you can visit www.animalcare.lacounty.gov and click on the Baldwin Park tab to schedule an adoption appointment. Kitten season is here! Please don’t kit-nap. Not all kittens need your help. If you find a kitten, mom is likely close by. Leave them in place and wait and see if mom comes back. Check out our website or kitten lady’s site for more information and helpful videos. #DACCares https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKaGdy5-rPs http://www.kittenlady.org/webinar
