SAFESPORT AND HEADSUP PROGRAMS (last updated 18 Dec 2019) As a leader in the education of Judo, the USJF has been monitoring and working with experts regarding the provision of improving the safety and security of all our members and member clubs. We are acknowledging the trend and the need to actively provide the tools in which USJF members can feel confident that issues such as abuse and concussion will be managed and that all clubs will be knowledgeable of their obligation...s to their dojo members. Requirements for SafeSport and Headsup As of April 2015 The USJF Board of Directors passed new mandatory education and training requirements for all USJF dojos. This mandate takes effect September 1st, 2015. Accompanying this will also be some protocols/procedures and paperwork that will be implemented to protect the athletes and also as risk management measures to protect you, your dojo, and your instructors. These will be used at your dojos and also at all sanctioned events.

If you stuck on part Y of a throw setup...go back to part A... Fundamentals become more important in dealing with size/skill differentials as you go up to higher levels.

Setting up your Throw wheel...Forward Throw sets up Backward throw..Backwards sets up Forward....Major technique sets up Minor Technique..etc...Establishing your tokui waza meaning your primary tachi waza (Non counter or sacrifice throw)...unlocks all your other throws which you need against more experienced judokas.

One of biggest barriers of playing Ippon Judo. 1. Overthinking 2. Not getting Maximum Reps/ Uchikomi 3. Self Belief in your throws 4. Reliance on your Tachi waza to win matches....etc..etc..

60 Judo Kodokan cup 2020 -60kg Final misjudgment 10 ... 0:00 0:31 1:39 1:54 2:13 5:25 5:37 6:03 6:09 6:28 8:16 9:01 9:34 () 10:27 10:53 11:40 15:36 15:58 16:32 17:19 18:54 Both of them haven't won this championship, so it would be a first victory As you can see it's Kenka-yotsu Yonemura is left handed Kumite Konishi is right Yonemura tries to grab Mae-eri Wow it's an intence Kumikata battle Both of them are good at Seoi-nage He has thrown It's Koshi-guruma he's got Waza-ari and it's Mate It was a good technique at Kumi-giwa That was quick Now it was like O-goshi Yonemura has scored That was Yoko-sutemiwaza He shaked his opponent in a Yoko way The game just started 30s ago Firstly Yonemura scored Konishi jumped in Konishi is good at Newaza Now he's grabing the belt and turning over One more time Next he is trying to apply an arm-locking, isn't he? No he wants to pin opponent's upper half of body and pull out his leg He is tough It's like Kata-gatame but he can't pull off his leg It's not Osaekomi yet See.. He can do it He can do it It is almost Osaekomi if he pull off his leg Konishi had a score stolen but... (Now he's pinnig Yonemura) His newaza has been quite useful today First, 10 seconds it's waza-ari This is... The referee gestured Ippon but... I think this is probably a wrong score This one, Yonemura has scored Yonemura is supposed to score Waza-ari again Now Konishi pinned Yonemura Yes he did Yonemura had Waza-ari Konishi scored Waza-ari then it becomes Ippon with Yonemura's Waza-ari The first one it was Yonemura's waza-ari Now Konishi pinned but... I think when it was 10s Osaekomi, Konishi would score one Waza-ari And when he pinned 10 more seconds, he would win Here we heard the buzzer and he scored Ippon Now the jury is watching a video and deciding We have one head referee on the mat this year In the same way as last year Waza-ari is canceled and then It's a little bit strange Konishi definitely did Kesa-gatame 10s absolutely He should score Waza-ari The technique is completed He would continue Osaekomi 10 more second It was not Toketa I don't know what's going on Let's watch it again This one Konishi was pinning and he was supposed to continue until Ippon The person who does the scoreboard or timer made the buzzer by mistake So let's make it clear Firstly Yonemura scored It was Sumi-gaeshi and Waza-ari After that, the person who pinned is Konishi Konishi pinned 10s and it's the same as Waza-ari They would have the equal score But the buzzer rang and it became Ippon Yonemura scored Waza-ari After that Konishi scored The timer and score are absolutely wrong He is Yoshinaga sensei He bacame the head coach in Kokushikan Uni this year Kimura-san Have you seen the situation like this? No I haven't It's a rare case, I guess Right The jury has been deciding He supposed to continue pinnning until buzzar rang But on the way, he was stopped pinnning It's unfare for Konishi Of course Players stop fighting when they hear the buzzar Or the referee says Soremade Yes This time the referee called This is the final in -60kg Kodokan cup The timer stops now it's 2:16 Now the jury has called the referee It's the scene one more time This is the first scene Yonemura's Sumi-gaeshi Then Yonemura scored Waza-ari After that This is not Kesa-gatame He tried Kata-gatame He is going to pull off his leg This is Kesa-gatame Eventually he did Kesa-gatame The referee's back Let's see again It was Waza-ari At least they shoud restart in Newaza scene I don't know why he called Toketa We could hear Sensei's voice Now you can see Waza-ari for Yonemura and No score for Konishi This data on the screen is directly sent by Kodokan cup management At least it was 10s, it's not strange to be Waza-ari I am not Konishi side but the referee said Soremade He stopped Konishi by mistake But it was Waza-ari It's wrong, isn't it? He doesn't score Waza-ari 10s it's Waza-ari we could see Waza-ari but... It was Waza-ari, isn't it? Yes it was At that time both of them scored Waza-ari The jury called the referee again They'll discuss I guess Konishi can't accept this But it's good to change his mind now for him Yoshinaga Sensei from Kokushikan Uni is saying "concentrate concentrate" What are they thinking while waiting? Yonemura may think what will happen Because literally he was pinned completely Konishi may be changing his mind now If it's Waza-ari, I need to go again You see we never know what would happen in a game In that situation it's important to focus on and show their skills When they join a world competition, games sometimes stop The referee says Please pin again But now Yonemura scores Waza-ari and Konishi doesn't So they will start from 11s, won't they? But the score shows Yonemura is in the lead Konishi must score Konishi couldn't score now He doesn't count the first 10s? Is that so? Konishi doesn't score Today there is no audience Yoshinaga Sensei says "Why? No Waza-ari?" Now Konishi has scored Waza-ari Both of them have Waza-ari They could accept and they're focusing on the game now 1:30 Konishi takes Tsurite Yonemura's head is down He tries Seoinage 1:19 This is the final of men -60kg The voice was Yoshinaga Sensei's from Kokushikan side 1 more min out of 4 mins Both have Waza-ari score Yonemura is left handed Kumite Konishi is right They haven't won seniour tournaments They are tring to win at their first time Again Konishi's score is canceled Seoinage Again Konishi's score is canceled What's going on? I don't know Both of them had Waza-ari But Again Konishi's score is deleted Does Konishi know it? It may change how to fight 15s According to the score board Yonemura is in the lead 5s The game's end Now let me check A few moment ago both had Waza-ari but Waza-ari is canceled I don't get it In the end Yonemura won We do understand the referee stopped Newaza by mistake But he pinned 10s It must be Waza-ari I don't know what that means Anyway the referee have already decided Yonemura won Yonemura is going back This is the highest tournament in Japan Also it's the first competition this year This game should finish in the way two of them feel good Konishi still hasn't gone back Now he did Rei He is going to Rei deeply to Tatami mat and the referee The game is finished Yonemura left Tatami Konishi did Rei but this hasn't happenned before This is the final Kodokan cup -60kg As I said Konishi had Waza-ari once I didn't notice when it happened, Konishi's Waza-ari was canceled So it was a wrong score board Now we've got the infomation from the referees Konishi's Waza-ari was wrong But during Judo games, players are watching the score boards Of course He pinned and the buzzar rang It means he pinned 10s I don't understand this In here we han't got any audiance today The buzzar rang by mistake The score board showed a wrong score And the score made everyone confused The players are poor Now Yamashita Sensei stands up So he need to accept the results now So now Yonemura from Senko won at his first time But both winner and loser don't smile now Yonemura is like this Konishi looks like regrettable now This Sumiotoshi Yonemura scored He throws great here It was a good technique from Yonemura Sumi-otoshi... No it's Sumi-gaeshi Then Konishi did Newaza He is tough here He never let them escape Then this is his favourite He pulled off his leg During Kesagatame, the buzzar rang The referee considered and it was no Waza-ari The winner is Yonemura This is the first victory for him Now Konishi touched Yonemura Both of them tried to do their best This is not their fault They may accept the result now This is the last game for Konishi from Kokushikan Uni I heard he will keep doing judo after graduation We're looking forward to his activity in the future Yonemura fought 5 games today This is a good victory I want him to be happy at least he won 3rd is Koga from Nihon Taiiku Uni And Tateyama from Park24 He was 3rd last year too He's been keeping 3rd place for 3 years 2nd is Konishi And the top is Yonemura who is in employment in Senko This is the first victory for him 24 years old he graduated from Nihon Taiiku Uni Koga from Nihon Taiiku Uni has recieved a medal The players take a medal by themselves This is new Yamashita Sensei has just talked to Konishi And then the winner Yonemura He got it #OpenMat # # (7:00to8:00pm) #(8:00pm-10pm) #(7:00pm-10pm) **MTR,(),()2 #nakamajudoclub http://nakamajudoclub.com/ ***1 112(),116(),119(),1113(),1116() ,1120()1123(),1127(),1130() 124(),127(),1211(),1214(),1218() ,1221(),1228() 14(),18(),111(),115(),118(),122()125() (8:00pm-10pm) 5 810(20:00-22:00) 113(),1110(),1117(),1124() 121(),128(),1215(),1222(),1229() 15(),112(),119(),126() (&) ,810 (20-22)pm 12 5 810 (20:00-22:00) # #Judo # !! & # #PrivateTraining http://nakamajudoclub.com/press/ # #NakamaJudoClubTeam http://www.nakamajudoclub.com/ https://www.facebook.com/Hkjudojapan #NakamaJudoClubTeam #Whatsapp: http://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=85259218861 Youth and Adult Classes Location : Hong Kong Island Sheung Wan Sports Centre 12/F Time : Monday &Friday (20 22)pm Sham Shui Po Pei Ho Street Sports Centre 5/FTime : Tuesday (20:00-22:00) Children's class and Open Mat (free practice time) Location : Hong Kong Island Sheung Wan Sports Centre 12/F Time : Monday &Friday (19 20)pm Nakama Judo Club Team # #HongKongJudo # #KowloonDistrictJudo #Judo
