Here, a four year old jade bonsai shares her surroundings with a ghost plant and two kiwi's as they root themselves in a soulful compost contained in a handmade plastic planter. To emphasize black is also beautiful, BLACK LIVES MATTER preaches a message of compassion and LOVE. What affect this will have remains to be seen. Love has it's own way of dealing with ...this matter and relies on the energy of light to show us her TRUTH. Sunlight nourishes and educates these plants to be all they can be. They have been taught they are equal parts in a world of ONENESS, connected by a cellular network that shares everything in a field so vast, I call it INFINITY. Science now believes the finite contains the infinite in essence; an essence that black lives have rediscovered in their hearts. This soulful awareness is reaching out to each one of us as we continue to change in the blink of an eye toward the PERFECT NOW. New arrangements starting with a tomato on a stand june 20th, 2020. Next on July 20th is the tomato on a stand with a trellis. This is a yellow cherry tomato that likes growing tasty tomatoes. Next is Carlsbad containing a 3 year old jade and two beautiful kiwi's. And last is thankful, home to a two year old jade and some ghost plants and a sedum. Sales make room for these new arrangements and customers are braving the outdoors searching for just the right plant to remind them that life is about giving and giving a plant life and care is a good place to be in.

Pictured here is a jade plant that I started growing in 2013. It was just a cutting, looking forward to a beautiful life. The first photo shows the plant in a recycled plastic planter in 2017 with a lucky turtle riding on the lucky nub I created from a cut branch. In January of 2018, flowers are the new expression. By February 2018 this arrangement was boasting it's hopefulness and my last photo of it is the fourth picture from July of 2019. Last Friday this jade plant found ...a new home. For $80, Marcell, a local avocado rancher bought this jade for his 20 year old daughter who is getting interested in bonsai. To say the least , we are all thrilled. Marcell returned the other day with a gift of a dozen avocados and the news that his daughter loves the plant. This story illustrates the evolution of life on a small scale. I hope you enjoy it...... With over 700 plants in my garden, my soil requirements are ongoing. My intention is clear in beginning with the soil because composting clearly shows how particles are transformed through chemistry to regenerate themselves into new versions that can create new life. Plants send roots into the soil and extract all the necessary particles to create new versions. Microbes are required to help the plant eat and grow. This natural process establishes it's presence around the world and continues to transform our landscape at home. When my hair and nails go into the compost and come out as soil, I can begin to see the cycle. Air and water are also contributors and by the time they all decide to heat up and cool down in the heap, Mother Nature has her say.

Here are some photos of some plants that can take their stress of being totally dependent on the GARDENER, which in this case is our own planet EARTH with MOTHER NATURE in charge, and translate that into BEAUTY.
