Azusa Golden Days

One of our most memorable events during Azusa Golden Days is the Honored Citizen Luncheon. Hosted by the Azusa Golden Days Hospitality Committee, Gabriela Arellanes and Diana Reyes Williams ensure Honored Citizens are picked up at their home, taken to all events and introduced publicly and treated royally for their service and dedication to the community of Azusa. This is a traditional event and this past Thursday, Maria Aramburo and Bobby Pedroza were honored at their first ...Honored Citizen luncheon. During the luncheon, past Honorees and past Chairs have the opportunity to share their experiences and stories of past with all attendees. This is one of the most touching events as their stories embrace service and dedication to our city from years past. The event was well attended and we thank all our honored citizens for their service and for spending their time celebrating with us. We hope to see you this weekend at our carnival as we continue celebrating Azusa Golden Days with live entertainment, food booths, carnival rides and more. Parade is Saturday, October 12 at 10am. Azusa Golden Days is also honoring amazing Azusans who have contributed to making Azusa a better place! We are thrilled to have them all in this year's parade. Since the parade was rained out last year, we are honoring both 2018 and 2019 individuals, including our amazing Azusa PD for receiving the Medal of Valor.
