As a community service project, Vallejo Dog Training Club purchased 100 face masks (from club members Trish Iriye and Aidan Robson) and distributed them to Animal Clinic of Benicia, Bayside Veterinary Hospital in Vallejo, Redwood Veterinary Hospital in Vallejo and Solano Pet Emergency Clinic in Fairfield. The top photo below is the staff of Bayside in their new face masks! The bottom photo is the staff at Solano Napa Pet Emergency Clinic. Their text to me said we are so grateful and appreciative for these masks. We love them so much! From the bottom our of hearts! Thank you.
Looking for something fun to do with your dog during Shelter-at-Home? Why not try some Freestyle dance classes with Judy Gamet? Judy is offering 30% of all online classes until April 8. Here is a link to the classes she is offering this session: https://www.dogscandance.com/classlist.php
Club members Trish and Aidan are making us proud with these masks that they have made and donated to Kaiser Oakland, VA Hospital in Martinez and Solano County Community Health Center, over 100 so far. They have material but are looking for local crafters to sew, cut and iron. Please respond if you can help.
Hey friends of VDTC- HSNB needs help. Do you have room to help foster a dog or cat or have a friend who can use a cuddle buddy during these next few weeks? While our dog classes and events are cancelled and we all stay home you can practice your training skills with a dog or cat who could really use a helping hand before they go to their forever home. Yay it’s Agility weekend!
Congratulations to our March Manners B graduates! Great job Bo, Fiona, Chuey, Marley and Luna!
Seen on Instagram today...by @kenesol
We found these old pen and ink VDTC logos in our club files...what’s your guess on how old they are?
Stepping up on objects at Thursdays Manners B class.
Trigger alert: These adorable puppies training off leash may just make you start looking for a new pup of your own. They are all having a blast at Puppy Play & Learn class at Pet Food Express learning to love people handling them & lots of other new experiences!
Our graduating Manners B class practiced their waiting in tight quarters skills last week- This skill is so useful at training workshops, advanced classes, the vet’s office or the groomer’s lobby. Everyone did so great- look at how these 10 dogs are happy being packed in and being managed by their people! I spy some recall practice, some stay practice and some chill out with a chew practice!
