I have started this post many times struggling to find the words to express my emotions regarding the murder of George Floyd and wondering if they will even make a difference. George Floyd - husband father son - friend.no more. I am filled with rage that his last words were... I CAN’T BREATH I CAN’T BREATH and that four officers had that MOMENT to let him breath. I am not going to pretend I know what it feels like to live in a society that is still so unacceptable of someone of color or to fear Law Enforcement. What I do know is if we as a society continue to accept this treatment of Black people we will never be united.
