If you have visited the local wine region or plan to; you are aware RSVP's is necessary well in advance of your visit. I know some visitors are using apps and other third party companies to book the tastings. I just saw a news report that some of these resources to book RSVP's are being pirated to capture your credit card info. Careful.

This was me as a kid in Avila Beach. Pretty much everyday. My record was 14 skips.

Found another case of 2016 in the cellar. Stored at 59 degrees, 70% humidity. So going to offer up 12 more verticals. The last offering sold out in 3 days-so inquire soon. Still selling a limited amount of 2017. Supply ok on 2018 whereas I pour on Wednesday-Fridays until sold out.. Pour 2019 everyday.

Definetly open 4th of July. Birds diving in the water, dolphins, otters and whales in view from the shore. And pouring wine in between the activity. Wouldn't want to be anywhere else on a 70 degree day in Avila Beach!

I have had encounters like this every time when whale watching. There should be whales, dolphins or both from now through summer. For sure sea otters and seals. Book early.

Cheers for getting back to normal. We are seeing record numbers of visitors to the Central Coast. However, people are spreading out to many activities, so it is comfortable and not over crowded. Most of our seating is outside-so we are good! Every business in Avila is open at some level. Fall is the best time of the year to visit Avila Beach. Book a room at off season rates.

Yesterday was action packed in Avila Beach. Many hundreds of pelicans and other animals of prey crashing on the schools of anchovies within 100 feet of the shore in AB. Hope it happens again today.

Closed tomorrow Thursday for a zoom tasting from 4:15-5:30 p.m. The fog in Avila Beach has been keeping the smoke away. Forecast is for clean skies tomorrow and through the weekend!
