Great day! Completed a 1049NM flight to take a plane to a charity event for the owner. Got to land at the airport (Santa Rosa, CA) I first started my office lessons. Last time I landed there I was pre-solo student pilot. Had a heck of a great day flying with a good friend. This is why we chase our dreams! ~ Daniel

What a perfect day for this to be the first flight anniversary of this Iconic airplane. A stopgap between the biplane era of fighters to the more modern carrier fighters like the Corsair and Hellcat. Though it was outclassed by the time the war broke out, its impressive construction and the tactics and teamwork our pilots developed made it an effective weapon through the end of the war. This was an excellent example of you might not have the best tools, best trained team but if you work together and look for solutions you can take what you have available and rise from the ashes to victory!
Quick snapshot from one of our many flights this last week!
Congratulations Eric Moore for completing his FAST Wingman Card today! Well done and well earned. He elected to come out to us and do an intense 3 days of Formation Flight Training! He did an incredible job and we look forward to doing more flying with him soon!

August 12, 1977, Space shuttle Enterprise was released in flight from the 747 Space Shuttle Transporter. After reaching an altitude of 24,100 feet, The Shuttle... Carrier Aircraft into a shallow dive. At 8:48 a.m., Fred Haise fired the seven explosive bolts holding the two craft together, releasing the Enterprise on her first free flight. After gliding at 185 MPH, for a total of 5 minutes, 21 seconds, Enterprise successfully touched down on Rogers Dry Lake. "The dream is alive" Although not officially recognized, Enterprise was named due to a letter-writing campaign by Star Trek fans to then President Gerald Ford asking that the orbiter be named after the Starship Enterprise NCC1701. Looks like this year we will not be having a 4th Of July party. We held off on announcing it because of COVID, but that isn’t the reason. Several of our key people will be out of town. Some for amazing things that we will be sharing and others to take care of some family emergencies. I promise we will be back to hosting some fun stuff soon! Daniel Wotring...
