The EVAP system (evaporative control system) captures any fuel that evaporates from the fuel tank and fuel lines and returns them to the engine for more complete combustion. If the engine is idling roughly and the Check Engine light is on, the problem may be with the canister purge valve component of the EVAP system.

Pay attention to changes in your car’s air-conditioning. If you detect an odd smell or it does not cool as you think it should, bring it in for a check. We will identify the problem and make recommendations about repairing it.

Do you know why it is important to change your oil regularly? Over time, the lubricity of the oil begins to break down as it uses up its additives, and become thinner, thus not working the way it used to. Frequent stops and starts put more strain on the engine, which demands more of your car’s oil.

A car that fails to start is generally a problem with the starting circuit (which includes the starter motor, wiring, and switches as well as the battery). Replacing the battery won't necessarily solve the problem, which is why it's best to get the car inspected by a professional.

If your brakes seemed to stop fine but the pedal continued to the floor while you were stopped, have your brake system checked at once! This may mean your master brake cylinder has a leak and you might not have brakes the next time you hit the pedal.
