What you focus on expands. What you put your attention on grows. Your thoughts create your perception of reality This is not just New Age thinking. This is not new at all. There is a true, real, Hermetic science to this that the mystery school has taught through the ages.... Ask yourself if where you are putting your attention presently is serving you. What is something that you release from your attention that is draining you? What is something you can focus on that will heighten your vibration? Choose 1 thing to let go of that doesn’t serve you. Choose 1 thing to focus on that will lift your spirits. Read this passage from the Emerald Tablets of Thoth when you need a reminder Know ye, O my brother, that fear is an obstacle great. Be master of all in the brightness, the shadow will soon disappear. Hear ye and heed my wisdom, the voice of LIGHT is clear. Seek not the valley of shadow, and LIGHT will only appear.’

Hello friends! I wrote this blog article that I hope will help if you're feeling anxious, fearful, frustrated, or angry because of politics right now. It includes questions for journaling, reflection or meditation. I don't normally give away the ending, but if you read nothing else, you should read the last paragraph. We definitely live by this in the The Modern Mystery School. To Know Thyself is our highest goal. The more you truly know yourself, the more masks fall away, the defense mechanisms crumble, and you stop caring what others think. You finally start living life authentically and on purpose. Five years ago if you’d asked me if I was living my purpose (before I found spirituality), I would have said yes. I didn’t even realize I was living my life according to what my company, my ...(former) husband, and what I thought society at large wanted from me. I thought I was free. Yet, I was a slave! I was on medication for chronic anxiety disorder, I went to therapy weekly, and I was absolutely miserable. I was at my breaking point. One thing I’ve learned is if you’re struggling in life with emotional and mental issues, you are not living life authentically or on purpose. Our soul knows this and it suffers as a result. My first step to waking up was the Life Activation I received almost exactly four years ago. I started seeing the illusions for what they are. I realized I didn’t owe anything to my former employer beyond what I’d already given them and they already paid me for. I left my job 11 months later. The company I thought I would work for until retirement! Then somehow knew I was supposed to do this thing called Empower Thyself and Initiation even though I didn’t understand it. Immediately after, I had no more anxiety disorder. I was cured. I’ve been medication and therapy free for almost three years. I don’t need them. I know myself so much better, and I’m living authentically. There is literally nothing a therapist could tell me that I can’t discover myself. I have the tools to know what’s best for me. In fact, I bet they would tell me things that would be inauthentic to me because they do not know who I am. Not really. Not at the soul and spirit level like I know myself. That is my story. The abbreviated version. It’s why I offer the Life Activation. Not because I wanted a new career or the title of healer. Because once I knew myself, I knew it is part of my purpose to show this path to others, so they too can begin remembering who they truly are. It is not ever what other people will tell you. To "Know Thyself". The ultimate purpose of a true path spiritual path. If you ignore the wonders of your own house, how do you expect to find other wonders? In you is hidden the Treasures of Treasures. Know Thyself and you will know the Universe and the Gods. Ipsissimus Hideto Nakagome always emphasizes the importance of knowing thyself. You think that you know yourself since you live every moment with yourself. Who else could know you better than you? But have you really come to ? We'll leave you with one hint... If you have, the world would be full of wonders waiting to be explored and the desire to be negative in any form would vanish!

MAGIC vs. MAGICK. You may have wondered why I add a "k" at the end when I talk about the work I do. "Magic" is referring to illusions, or fantasy, like Harry Potter, which as amusing as it is, is not at all real magick! The foundation of magick is first and foremost, personal transformation. We transform our attachments to freedom, our pain to healing, our negative thoughts to positive ones, our doubts to confidence, our victimhood to power, our judgments to acceptance. We d...o all of this and more through the tools we are handed down through our lineage: meditation, rituals, prayer, spiritual study, etc. This magick healed my lifelong chronic anxiety. I don't mean that I now manage it better or I feel it less. I mean it disappeared! Like magick! Immediately after Empower Thyself and Initiation, I no longer had any anxiety. It hasn't returned in over three years. My therapists and psychiatrist made only modest dents in my anxiety over a decade. But a weekend of deep spiritual teachings and initiation into this holy ancient lineage cured me. When we have anxiety, there is no space for light to come in. We fill our mind and body with worries, fears, and negative thoughts. Anxiety makes no room for our higher self, our spiritual guides, or God to come in and guide us. We are trapped in a hamster wheel of repetitive thoughts that keep us stuck and small. There are so many suffering. You may be one of them. I used to suffer deeply, mostly in silence. I do still occasionally suffer. But now I'm able to recognize it as a sign of where I need to grow and change. And I have the tools to transform and heal that suffering and free myself of it! I believe in magick because it works. Yes, I have magick wands and tinctures and crystals - tools that are in service of transformation. They do not to make a rabbit pop out of a hat. They bring light to individuals who are ready to heal, ready to transform some of their inner darkness into light. Why we meditate

Why is caring so important? As Ipsissimus Dave points out, caring leads to awareness - and it is only through awareness that we are able to shift and grow. We can't change the things we don't care about.... Opening your heart and caring are part of the internal shifts that lead to true empowerment. Care for yourself, care for your environment, and care for all the beings who are part of your world!
