Are you ready for... STAFF PET SUNDAY Starting this week we will feature one of our many staff pets . This week we’re featuring supervisor Sam’s cat Morrison . Volume up to hear how he answers her question . ... From Sam: He is 13.5 years old. He was adopted at 8 weeks old from a shelter. He loves to bird watch and cuddle with his brother Link . He is the most fearless cat I’ve ever owned . Everyone that meets him falls in love with him . He was urethral obstructed about 7-8 years ago, hospitalized at AUC and Dr. Cross took care of him. He enjoys being a foster dad mainly because he gets to steal kitten food. And he lives to eat, as you can tell. If you ask him if he wants to be handsome ...he comes running to be brushed. Last but not least he’s really good at stealing treats from his brother .

Little Sierra of Compassionate Animal Rescue for Medical Aid (CARMA) is the one of toughest, sweetest little puppies we’ve ever had the pleasure of caring for! Sierra’s mom was sick and having difficulty taking care of her babies. Sierra herself was having a hard time latching on mom and needed help nursing. Our RVT Theresa is now fostering her. Sierra is on around the clock feedings and treatments, and is getting stronger with each day! Here she is getting a nebulizing treatment to help her growing lungs. Theresa reports that Sierra has all but forgotten about being the runt and now has a giant attitude!
