Auburn Pet Clinic 20.10.2021

Hi, Chip here. Wait. That sounds like I’m offering you a Pringle. Woof, back up: My name is Chip. Good looking (and cool) dachshund wrangling the Auburn Pet Clinic desk? ... Right. I’m sure you’ve given me pat more than once. Hard to resist, of course. No one blames you. FYI, a chin scratch is great, tooand doesn’t rumple my fur as much. Putting my best paw forward is part of the job. Looking cool, not scratching in public, being okay with adoration. I know the drill. I’m a pro. Anyway, speaking of chin scratches, I wanted to say thatwoofI really miss you all! I have my friends, Dr. Wendy, Dr. Sara & the super-duper clinic team, but I miss seeing the rest of my friends. You. All of you. The waiting room is so empty right now. I get it, physical distancing. We’re all about safety and good care at Auburn Pet Clinic. Butwoooooof, yipeven a cool dude gets lonely, right? Nobody sitting out front, my animal friends going in and out the back door? It’s hard not to howl, frankly. Even though that’s right up there on the no-no list with scratching and chewing the pencils. I watch the door, listen for the buzzer, and do the occasional tap dance on the desk top (pretty great when my nails get long), and I wait. And wait. I miss you. So I’m going to do this blog, Chip’s Cookie. Say hi, let you know what’s going on, field comments, take questions. About myself, mostly. You know like my wardrobe choices, favorite pencil flavors, grooming tips. And some questions for you, too. Like: What do you think of me? Sure, I could do all that. In a very cool way. So . . . I’m Chip. Let’s hear from you, okay? Woof. See more
