In response to the worsening global health emergency, Atypon has created a website with a free, real-time feed that delivers the latest research and news on the novel coronavirus outbreak as soon as it is published. The Novel Coronavirus Outbreak Special Edition feed aggregates content from over 30,000 authoritative sources across the web, making discovery faster and more comprehensive for medical practitioners and the general public. The social media-like feed of research papers, preprints, news, and tweets related to the virus is driven by Scitrus, Atypon’s AI-based discovery technology. We feel fortunate to have technology we can contribute to combatting the illness. The Novel Coronavirus Outbreak Special Edition feed is publicly available at https://www.scitrus.com/spec/novel%20coronavirus%20outbreak

NISO, which develops and maintains the technical content standards that underlie the online publishing of scholarly research, has honored our own Bruce Rosenblum with the first fellowship they’ve awarded in 20 years. Bruce came to Atypon last year when we acquired Inera, of which he is the CEO. Bruce, who was instrumental in creating Crossref’s metadata deposit schema and is the co-author of the XML content model that eventually became JATS, was recognized for his ongoing contributions to the scholarly communications community. Congratulations, Bruce! http://bit.ly/38oGUe1
