FYI re Ventura Family Law Court MSCs and SCs: All Mandatory Settlement Conferences (MSC) and Status Conferences (SC) that were set or continued between 3/16/20 and 8/14/20 in Ventura Family Law Court were VACATED. Effective 8/24/20, any vacated MSCs will not be reset by the court but must be requested. ... A party / attorney may request an MSC by filing the local form VN-086 Request / Counter Request for Mandatory Settlement Conference / Trial Setting (Family Law). Do NOT make the request unless Preliminary Declarations of Disclosure and any updates to the disclosures have been exchanged, known discovery completed, and attempts at settlement have occurred. Status conferences remain suspended through 12/31/20.
