Atria Collwood

It was a fun St Patrick's Day here at Atria Collwood! "Green" was certainly the common theme, complete with a rainbow and a pot of gold! We served green beer, Irish coffee, Lucky lemon cupcakes and fried green beans with dip. Even our Executive Director, John, got in on the fun!

Let the party Be Gin! It was an afternoon of Gin and Jazz! We danced down the halls and served strawberry gin and tonics and bruschetta with our weekly Happy Hour cart.

There were plenty of Sips and Dips to go around yesterday with our mobile Happy Hour cart. Our chef created a tasty treat with a variety of dips, pita and veggies. We also served white wine sangria. It was a fun afternoon! Cheers!

It was a fun Mardi Gras day on Tuesday. We passed out lots of beads and we served king cake cupcakes and Hurricanes! Everyone had a great time.

We had a special Valentine's / Palentine's Day Happy Hour cart yesterday. Just look at those chocolate covered strawberries, freshly made by our new Chef Maritza! We served champagne and sparking cider, which certainly added to the elegance. Happy Valentine's Day!

We held our second COVID-19 vaccine clinic today. There were lots of cheers! The residents are looking forward to being out and about, hopefully soon. Sleeve Up Atria! We can do this!

It was a Spa Day with Masks and Mimosas, and a touch of lavender! Lots of laughs took center stage as residents were treated to face masks, lavendar sachets and mimosas. It was a perfect day at the Collwood Spa!

Happy Harvest Time! Today we enjoyed cocktails, pumpkins, gords, leaves and a variety of scarecrows with our Harvest themed Happy Hour... but most of all, we laughed (and laughed)! It was a great day.

Don't Worry... Be Frappe`! Iced coffee with Bailey's and scones did the trick on our mobile Happy Hour cart. It was a nice treat for a hot afternoon.

The 80's were So Rad - Totally!! And oh, the colors! It was fun re-living some of those moments with our Rad 80's Happy Hour cart.

Red or black? Hit or stay? It was time for some casino fun with roulette and blackjack along with martinis and brownies... and of course, the dealer! Today was our Casino Royale mobile Happy Hour and everyone was a winner!

It was a fun "Taco 'bout a Guac" mobile Happy Hour today. We served margaritas and quesadillas with guacamole. There were lots of laughs!

It's Game Time! The NFL is kicking off the 2020 season and Atria Collwood joined the celebration with beer, nachos and Cracker Jack! It was a day of football and fun!

Mint Juleps and our Run for the Roses Kentucky Derby Happy Hour cart made for a fun afternoon! We all will be watching the actual race at Churchill Downs on Saturday.

We a had a lot of fun with our Dog Days of Summer "Yappy" Hour! There were 101 Dalmations (well, almost) and our community black lab mascot named Cody to liven up the afternoon with cocktails. Resident pets love Cody and greeted him at the door. It truly was a "Yappy" hour!

It was a day from the Wild Wild West! Our residents enjoyed the door to door Happy Hour!

Prohibition Stops Here! We served Bee's Knees cocktails and light bites to eat. The Roaring 20's were alive!

We had a fun Garden Party today. There were a lot of fresh vegetables from the Farmer's Market on display, and of course we served Bloody Marys! There was some discussion on how to cook fresh beets! Anyone??

Remember the 1960's? It was all about Flower Power, Feeling Groovy, Hang Ten and Peace! We served cocktails of that era and rocked out to 60's music!

It's Christmas in July! We served Christmas cookies and mulled wine. We even told a few Christmas stories. It was a fun change of pace and everyone enjoyed the fun.
