Statement on Anti-Asian and Pacific Islander violence and incidents The Asian Pacific American Lawyers Inland Empire (APALIE), The Hispanic Bar Association of the Inland Empire (HBAIE), and The R.T. Fields Bar Association (RTFBA) mourn the loss of all the lives in the recent massacre in Atlanta, Georgia. We unequivocally condemn this act of violence, which underscores the rising violence against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. We call upon the Inland Empire community t...o also condemn these acts and condemn the misinformation and hateful rhetoric directed at the Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. In the wake of this tragedy, it is critical we band together to show unity and strength. We ask that you stand together with us in solidarity to combat racism, xenophobia, and bias.
