Time: 1pm - 2pm When: Saturday, Sep 15th Instructor: Vincent Pritchard CLASS DESCRIPTION - Movement for the Stage is a class that focuses on dynamic, characterized motions and bold acrobatics to portray strong, recognizable character types. Based heavily off the traditional Italian theatrical method of Commedia Dell'Arte, students will learn techniques for characterizing, embellishing, and embodying their performances with the use of character archetypes, solo and partner improvisation, pantomime and prop work. and acrobatics. This class draws heavily from theatre traditions and dance, and is appropriate for all ages and experience levels. Wear comfortable, easy-to-move-in clothes, and be prepared to wear a mask!

Hammock: Inside & Out Hammock is a unique apparatus that becomes mesmerizing as we manipulate it's shape through movement & rotation. In this workshop, we will spend half the time on moves inside the hammock, and half "outside" in the closed position. Additionally, we will work on spinning & small drops throughout our sequences.
