It should take you to the classes I am offering for the next few months. They may not all be up yet, so hang on and thank you for your patience. This is brand new for all of us. You may need to create an account first and then register for the class after that.

I’m ready to tell you the exciting plans for my art classes for the remainder of 2020. I will be teaching through Sunrise Rec and Parks at Rusch Park in Citrus Heights. Beginning and intermediate Watercolor, Beginning and Intermediate Acrylics and Drawing (pencil, colored pencil, etc.) will all be offered through in-person socially distanced (masks required)classes in a very large space combined with virtual lessons that I have recorded. You can do either completely in person/completely online, or do both. I hear my videos are good. Each class is 5 weeks in length. You can see the information at www.SunriseParks.com. I am really excited about this opportunity to teach for the rest of this year and hope that you will join in the fun. Classes start mid-August

A great big hello to my art students. Hope you are all well and staying busy I am still waiting to hear from the San Juan Unified School District as to their plans for Fall 2020 semester and the status of the art classes at Sunrise Tech Center and Creekside Adult Center. I will let you know when I hear something. I have been working on classes for the Fall and video recording everything I do so I will have virtual classes to offer one way or the other

And we are back!!! I am ready to resume my drawing classes at Rusch Park in Citrus Heights. The next class begins on July 9. We will now be in a really big room. Social distancing and safety measures will be incorporated. Everyone will have 6’ of working space. This time we will learn how to draw using different types of perspective. Hi everyone. I’m still here. Soon I will be posting information about my plans for art classes for the rest of the year. I know some of you are very anxious to get back to painting and/or drawing lessons as am I. I will post more when definite decisions have been made

Hello out there. Just a quick update. Due to the fact that I am doing my part and staying home, the classes that were currently in session (all ten of them) are being finished via email with my students. It’s working well and a lot of extra work but my students are worth it. Upcoming classes that were scheduled to start in April are on hold until further notice. Once it is safe to meet again, I will be back. More info to come as I know it. I miss you all. Keep creating. We all need some color in our lives these days

New art classes start the week of Jan 6 at Sunrise Tech Center (Citrus Heights) and Jan 13 at Creekside Adult Center (Arden Arcade area). Spaces are still available in Drawing, Beginning and Intermediate Watercolor, and Beginning and Intermediate Acrylics. New drawing class starting at Rusch Park (Sunrise Parks and Rec) on Thursday Jan 9, 2020, from 1-3 pm. Learn how to design, draw and render Polynesian style tiki statues and Northwestern totems. Seats are still available

Want to learn how to use colored pencils on dark paper? This class will start at Rusch Park on Thursday, August 22 from 1-3 pm. It’s a 6 week class. The photo I used to do this drawing was taken by one of my students. Thank you Bob Ellis
