Dear Friends, As we approach the end of this year I hope this email finds you healthy and as happy as any of us can be under the current situation. These certainly are challenging times for all of us. The Academy is certainly no different than many other small business's. We have been challenged as other's with not being able to run our business as it was designed and have had to adapt to a new reality of distanced learning on the internet using the Zoom platform. Also our nu...mbers are at 25 to 30 percent of what they were when we closed our studio in mid March. We certainly could use your help in these uncertain times. The number one way you can help is by taking an online class, which helps the Academy and our instructors. We are limited to the classes that work in this format and they are listed below. We will begin work on a new studio space in January to get it set up and ready for in person classes by the end of March. We will be offering classes in Drawing, Painting and Printmaking to start and continue work to provide outdoor space for Stained-glass and Mosaic. Also we plan on setting up a Jewelry studio at another location. Even as we do this remodel it is our intention to continue Zoom classes for those who are not comfortable in a class room. My hope is that we will be able to teach in person classes by Summer or Fall depending on the success of the vaccine, and state and local recommendations. Keep your fingers crossed.
