Same in California. People think the towing industry is a get rich scam. We hear it all of the time when people come to pick up cars. I need to buy a towing ...company! I always reply with I’ll sell you this one. With all the fees we have to pay, and vehicles that do NOT get picked up but we still have fees that have to be paid, there is not much profit left. Then you add in cost of fuel, wear and tear on equipment, payroll, insurance, workers comp, etc. so yeah not much profit. See more
