As 2020 is nearing its end, we would like to recognize the regions dedicated volunteers who have responded to home fires and other critical incidents in the state. Amidst a global pandemic our volunteers have answered the call of 272 fires and aided over 1,100 individuals. The Red Cross is committed to safely serving our community during the COVID-19 outbreak #emergenciesdontstop

Today the American Red Cross, along with several other agencies, will be at the Local Assistance Center (LAC) in Mendocino County at the Willits Library from 2pm-6pm. When the fires forced many people to evacuate, families like the Romeros were in need of financial assistance to help them get their feet on the ground.
