Today, we would have been dancing our little hearts out! Instead today, we mourn, we dance alone in our kitchens, we wait.... This time next year, we hope to see everyone again on the dance floor - how thrilling that would be :) Please do tell us how you are....how you are spending today....how you still dance....we want to hear from you!!!!

There are SO many losses associated with cancelling April Follies this year. We could really use your help if you are willing and able. Aside from the losses to our competitors (lessons, costumes, airfares...), our show director, judges and on and on, we have large tangible losses also like the huge deposit on our venue, big publicity bills etc. There are a couple of ways for you to help us defray some of these costs: **If you already registered, perhaps you would like to don...ate your fees? It is with heavy hearts that the April Follies committee has decided to cancel the 2020 April Follies Queer Dance Competition due to the Corona virus (Covid19) outbreak. In times of public health crises the ethical path is to follow the most prudent course of action. So many of us have invested time, love and money in dance lessons, costumes, travel, etc. We know that this cancellation will create disappointment in our queer dance community for competitors and spectators ali...ke. We will be working on a plan for refunding registration fees for dancers and spectators. April Follies will have to absorb losses due to this cancellation. "The NASSPDA Scholarship Fund, is open to all dancers (members and non-members), who wish to compete in any NASSPDA sanctioned event (April Follies) and lack the necessary funds.
