SPOTTED (through covered eyes) and just in time for Halloween! If you're into the gory, killer-on-the-loose movies, you'll enjoy Ellis Greer in Bastard (2015). If you're more the psychological thriller type, check out Emily Goss in The House on Pine Street (2015). Either way, grab the popcorn, hot cocoa, and a blanket to hide under when it gets too scary! Who knew our Company Members could be positively frightening?

Usually, Geoffrey Wade is the man behind the camera. He has lent his photography skills to us for many productions, taking gorgeous snapshots of our actors, sets, and costumes. Now, we get the chance to share his photo, and his What to Do at Home Recommendations. : The Year of Lear by James Shapiro : The Morning Show, Schitt's Creek, Ozark : Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow(in Italian: Ieri, oggi, domani) : Left, Right, and Center; This American Life ... : The Norman Conquests : Tuba Skinny (find ‘em on You Tube!) Terri A. Lewis has designed many costumes for Antaeus productions, including Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Top Girls, and Henry IV, Part I. Because Halloween is around the corner, we wanted to get her thoughts on designing costumes for the theater. The beautiful blue dress in the photo is from Picnic (2015). Visit our blog to learn about the ingenuity that went into the creation of this dress. Featuring Jordan Monaghan, Gigi Bermingham, John DeMita. Photo by Karianne Flaathen.... A lot of over-the-shoulder conversations going on in The Liar (2013). Not to be confused with The Liar that we produced in 2000, this Liar was David Ives's translaptation (a translation with a heavy dose of adaptation) of Pierre Corneille's play. #throwbackthursday Featuring Rob Nagle, Karen Malina White, Jeff Gardner, Robert Pine, Jules Wilcox, Ann Noble. : Geoffrey Wade Photography

The costumes from The Caucasian Chalk Circle, designed by Angela Calin, did a perfect job of allowing the actors in this large and kinetic cast to flow easily from one character to another. Adding a coat changed a farmer's wife to a prince's nephew. A headscarf transformed a young woman into an old one. Some costume pieces were shared. The swapping and sharing encapsulated the ensemble nature of this production. . Featuring Noel Arthur, Steve Hofvendahl, Connor Kelly-Eiding, Madalina Nastase. Photos by Jenny Graham.

The first time we produced a play by Arthur Miller was in 2000, the little-known The Man Who Had All the Luck. Thirteen years later, we returned to Miller with The Crucible, required reading in many high schools. It's a perfect example of how we approach the classics: sometimes we do well-loved greats, sometimes hidden gems. All for the purpose of sharing timely and timeless stories through our love for the classical canon. #throwbackthursday Featuring Joe Delafield, John Prosky, Reba Waters Thomas, Saundra McClain.
