For as long as the human race existed, it had the most profound fascination with the Moon. Now, in the 21st century, our interest in this mysterious natural satellite has not subsided; in fact, it keeps growing, and there is a good reason for it. For example, the recent discovery suggests that the Moon used to have volcanoes. #earthscience #moon #discovery
The word "digital" has become so common in recent years, we don't even notice it anymore. Digital everything is now a part of our lives. However, the pandemic made is more than just common: it made digital into a lifestyle. Let's take a closer look at what it really means and in what ways it makes our lives different from what they used to be. #digitalworld #moderntechnology #contactcenternews
On September 17th, 2021, the Canadian firm VoIP MS was hit by ransomware in a massive hack. 80,000 customers in 125 countries lost their telephony services, unable to provide services to their clients. Why does it matter? Because Answering365 was one of those 80,000 clients. As a contact center, we depend on the stability and quality of the teleconnection, and once that connection is lost, all of our own clients are unable to receive their calls and messages. In a nutshell, w...hen the phones are not working, you can't make a call; it's that simple. Simple and also devastating. Answering365 provides services to many medical facilities: from small private practices to major hospitals. The interruption in phone connection means that doctors can no longer reach their patients and each other. In law firms, lawyers cannot reach their clients; property managers cannot get in touch with the renters and vendors, and the list goes on and on. As VoIP MS struggled to resume its services, Answering365's management started thinking creatively. Our IT team spent 72 hours straight, day and night, working around the outage, reestablishing the connections to our clients. Their brilliant work allowed us to maintain first partial connections and later bring them back fully without making the outage too destructive to the lives of over 400 companies that rely on us to be the extension of their business. Now that we are all breathing the sigh of relief, we feel grateful for our incredible managers who stayed up for days working on the problem and our extraordinary agents who carried themselves most professionally and compassionately throughout this challenging time. #contactcenterlife #creativethinking #problemsolved See more

What is the first thing we do when we think we or someone else has a fever? We touch the forehead. Sensing the temperature by touch is such a basic impulse we all have that we don't even recognize how imperative it is. Yet, on October 4th, 2021, the Nobel Prize was awarded to a scientist who did massive research on a subject. What was that about, anyway?#discover #scientists #research
Pancakes are weird: no matter how thin you make them, there is always a flipside. The same goes for cyber security: it is created for our safety and protection, but there are aspects of it that can turn out to be the opposite of what we expect. The data storage in the wrong hands, the cloud breakage, lack of support staff - all of it can endanger us instead of protecting. And the newest Amazon invention is creating controversy based on these very concerns. #cybersecurity #protect #robot

"Leaving a footprint" has a few different meanings. What we leave behind matters and is very telling, this time quite literally. It is starting to look that we, as humans, have been here, in the Americas, for quite a bit longer than scientists previously thought. #america #numanrace #science
How many times in the past few years did you get a new phone just to realize that your old charge will have to be replaced with yet another one? Annoying, isn't it? Well, the European consumers finally got fed up with this inconvenience, and the tech companies listened. Not only that, the aim is to reduce waste and comply with environmental laws. As a result, some positive changes are on the horizon! #theworldoftech #environment #universalchargers
As an answering service provider, Answering365 is also relying on other providers and relies upon a multitude of their services, specifically telephony. When something goes wrong with the most important part of it, the actual teleconnection, the entire carefully built system of services begins to crumble. That's what happened on September 16th when our own telephony provider, Canada-based tech giant VoIP, undergone a massive attack and lost its ability to support its clients in 125 countries across the globe. We sincerely apologies to all of our clients for the interruption of the services that are have been successfully restored. #answering365 #contactcenter #syberattack
Contact centers have become one of the most wildly used ways of communication between businesses and their customers. While the call center agents might be doing an excellent job, the centers as a whole have some improvements to make. That is where the idea of a Customer's Bill of Rights comes in. #contactcenter #customerservice #customersupport
Today we are celebrating all the redheads, their rare hair color and the uniqueness of their beauty. Answering365 is proud to have one natural redhead among us: our talented Director of Sales SueEllen Rector!
On September 23, 1846, the sky shone brighter than ever! No, it didn't. But... on this day, one of the most important planets of the Solar system, Uranus, was discovered with the help of an astronomer and three mathematicians. And while the sky didn't get any brighter, we found out about a part of it to make our knowledge of it more complete. #science #mathematics #cosmos
