It’s been 2 weeks since Zach & Monique said I DO! in the most intimate ceremony I’ve ever been a part of. It was amazing. They rented an Airbnb & only their closest friends were in attendance. When I asked Casey which of her pictures from their session were her favorite, she said she liked them all, but she loved the ones of her and her hubby. I love how she’s looking at Nick. I picked my faves of the two of them and my favorite of her and her little men.

Ready, set, go!!! I always have so much fun with this family. When I asked them to run towards me instead of walk, they were alllllllllll for it. Hahahahaha. I love for these sessions to be memorable. They are for me and I truly hope they are for my families.

As you can tell, I’m all about these two kissing in the desert at sunset! Kynnadi and Tyler had a small ceremony in the middle of a dry lake bed in Lucerne Valley that was so intimate! It was beautiful. We took photos there and we’re going to go back for sunset photos, but during the reception I noticed this field. I thought it was gorgeous and the light was perfect. We didn’t have to drive anywhere and that made it that much better!! Woohoo! I swear... intimate weddings hav...e my heart! Hey all! It’s me stopping by to say hi! I’m excited it’s finally October. This is my favorite month and it’s also my busiest. I’m 2nd shooting for @alexes_lauren_photography today so do you know what that means??? It’s @chickfila time. We’ve been known to eat there 2 days in a row post weddings. It’s our go to. Haha so funny. Tomorrow I am shooting another wedding by myself and Sunday I have some family sessions. What plans do you have for the weekend?

I’ve never wanted to rush the week as much as I have this one! It’s not like it’s been a difficult one, but to be honest I’m just tired. Anyone else feeling that way?? Oh Allie...I am excited for the adventure before you. Nothing will compare to the love you feel for your baby. The moment he is born...that love is an all consuming feeling. You can feel it overtake you and it will make your breath catch in your throat. Then you don’t know why you’re crying, but it feels right. I’m so happy that moment is coming up for you and Sean. I’ve come to learn that you do the things during a session that make the children happy. If the babies want flowers in the photos, you pick flowers! That’s what gives you the very best photos and the very best giggles from the kiddos. On a side note, check out @succulentsoiree!

This picture was totally unplanned. Well, the Little Missy portion was! I was taking pictures of Steven and Tara when my niece ran over to get in the shot. The addition of Kaylee is what makes this picture my favorite!

Every now and again I get asked to do a newborn session and I always love/hate it. Hehe. Babies always sense when I have my camera and I’m on a mission, but Miss Sadie slept peacefully for me. I was amazed! Thank you, @kelli.renee.87, for inviting me back 5 years after your last precious babe. It means more to me than you will ever know! Walking in to your house and seeing the pictures on your walls from sessions years again made me all happy inside. Congrats on your new baby girl!

Today, I celebrate Linda and Tony! They were supposed to get married today, but like many, they had to put their wedding on hold. I hope they are spending the day together doing something fun and staying out of the excessive heat! Xoxo
