OMGOSH!!! Words cannot express the love I felt today. . My BFF (since 7th grade) @ginakrafft and my nieces @amandaandthemoon and @kaytie_scarlett showered me with so much love today celebrating my belated birthday (it was in December) with an AMAZING birthday breakfast! So much detail and attention went into this beautiful and delicious meal. I have no words other than THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!! . I adore you all!!

If you knew my Dadso, you know he loved to walk. He walked three miles a day well into his late 80s. If you ever walked with him, you noticed he would pick up any nuts or bolts that he found. . On my walk today, the Lord blessed me with finding this stash...a sweet reminder of the many miles I walked with my Daddy. I will miss those times, but I will cherish the memories.

I am heart broken . Today I lost my person. My daddy and I were so much alike in so many ways...totally high-strung, love to take walks (especially together), play golf, smile at everyone, helper to anyone, I even got my curly hair from him. I had the privilege of holding his hand and, along with my sister Frannie, my mom, and my hubby, ushered him from this life to eternal life with Jesus. Words cannot express the level of loss I feel. And yet, I know in my knower tha...t he went from our presence to the presence of Jesus Christ Himself whole in body, whole in mind, worshipping the King of Kings. I know you are playing the lyre , Dadso, and singing worship songs with every creature in heaven. I can’t wait to join you, but until then...I will do my best to live a life worthy of your legacy...a prince among men.
