Recently, some armed suspects led Anaheim PD patrol officers on a vehicle pursuit. After getting rid of their gun, the group decided to get rid of their car too and try their luck on foot. As the suspects ran, they photobombed a group of friends out to lunch celebrating a birthday! ... (Thanks for the photos ladies! We hope you enjoyed your party!) This afternoon APD Investigators assisted the OC Human Trafficking Task Force locate and arrested two subjects for pimping, pandering and human trafficking. During a search of their vehicle, a loaded 9mm handgun was recovered. #anaheimpd

About two weeks ago, an Anaheim resident posted an add on Offer Up indicating she was selling a digital camera and a Nintendo game. A potential buyer contacted the seller, and the two agreed to meet in a parking lot in the 5600 Block of Santa Ana Canyon Road. Upon meeting, the buyer threatened to shoot the seller, showed her a handgun concealed in his waistband, and then fled with the seller’s camera. We are happy to share that through the outstanding work of Officers Woo and Gulley and the Robbery Detail , the suspect in this case was identified and arrested. At the time of his arrest, the seller’s camera and a bb gun (pictured here) were located in his possession. The suspect has been charged with robbery, criminal threats, and narcotics related charges. He is currently being held on $50,000 bail at the Orange County Jail.
