Have you squeezed in your workout today? Pulled this fun full body beach workout from the archive, but man it still kicked my ass this morning Give it a try and tell me if it did the same for you too! You'll just need a pair of moderate to heavy set of weights and a mat and you're ready to rock! Workout: ... Warm up for 1-3 minutes 1 minute- Squat / row 1 minute- Lunge / Fly 1 minute- Deadlift / row 1 minute- Fast Bicycles 1 minute- Reach Ups 1 minute- In and Outs Repeat this circuit back to back for 4-5 rounds (or as many rounds as you can squeeze in within 25 minutes) Push hard and rest as much as you need to and always listen to your body first! Cool down for 1-3 minutes Have a blast of fun! HaPpY sweating and let me know how it goes! Every meal directly effects the next meal I had a client who is just beginning her health journey ask, "Why am I always so hungry every hour after I eat breakfast?" and to tell her exactly what to eat so this doesn't keep happening. So I thought I would explain a little more in depth if this is happening with your nutrition too We are all biologically and chemically made up differently and it's important that you don't mindlessly just follow a plan, but dig a little deepe...r and find what works best for YOU and your life. What we eat for breakfast or any meal does directly effect the next meal and the next...until we are sitting at home at 9:00pm having cravings for sugar, carbs, fat and whatever else we didn't get enough of throughout the day. Our bodies are amazing and will let us know if we just listen. So how do you find out what works for you and what isn't? The process is we try food and see how our body responds- If it's working, keep it, if it's not, gently remove it for a week or so, reintroduce it again and if it still isn't working remove it for a while more or completely. The 4 areas I like to check after eating are: 1) Hunger- is it keeping me satisfied and full but not stuffed? Is it satiating me for a couple of hrs? 2) Energy -is it keeping my energy up and fueling me or making me feel sluggish? 3) Cravings- is it keeping my cravings down? Is it triggering my cravings? 4) Is it triggering any gut related issues / inflammation - makes me bloated, gassy or uncomfortable? This 3 egg white / 1 egg scramble with onions, salsa, spinach, 1/2 of a avocado, pepper, pink salt and 1/4 cup of oat bran with 1/2 bosc pear and cinnamon is one that always works for me, tastes great and keeps my hunger, energy, cravings and causes no gut issues and I'm fueled for a couple of hrs. My client was having oatmeal with 1/2 apple, which simply put wasn't enough food and kept making her hungry every hour. Once she added some protein and more water she saw a drastic difference in hunger and energy. So keep tuning into your body, listening and investigate to what it's saying after every meal to find what works best for YOU!!

Rocked this fun ass kicking stroller leg workout with Olivia yesterday and wanted to share the fun with the mama’s who are wanting a fun challenge and a great way to entertain your baby at the same time Workout: Warm up for 3-5 minutes ... Incline sprint-10 seconds Incline walking lunges-10 reps Step ups -Left side- 10 reps Step ups- Right side- 10 rep Incline sprint-10 seconds Incline walking lunges-20 reps Switch jumps-10 reps Bulgarian split squats- Left side- 10 reps Bulgarian split squats- Right side- 10 reps Incline sprint-10 seconds Incline walking lunges-30 reps Squat jumps-10 reps Squeeze in as many rounds as you can in 25 minutes. Push hard, rest as much as needed, listen to your body and have a blast!! Cool down- 3-5 minutes Tag a mama who would dig the fun too!! It's been a phenomenal adventurous transformational 2016 -mind, body and spirit over here at Anacapa Fitness. Everything from transformational mindset coaching sessions which helped drop and transform shame, guilt, fear or anything else not serving someone to walking in and cultivating more of an abundant, joyful, empowered mindset leading to more dreams coming to life and more mental, emotional and physical weight dropping as well as shifting to a more loving relationship wi...th themselves, others and nutrition. Yay!! Physically loads of fun and joy was cultivated together this year with monthly outdoor hikes, paddleboarding adventures, a crazy fun stair climbing race and all of the outdoor / personal / in home training sessions or online workouts they rocked on top of the extra challenges. Let's not forget to mention all of the endless love, encouragement, inspiration and hundreds of laughs that happen when we are all together I am so grateful and love everyone of you for being part of this fun this year. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You all have added more love, joy, blessings and growth to my life as your friend and coach. My heart is so abundantly full. This is my favorite time of year for Pumpkin everything! I had so much fun creating this Paleo Pumpkin Bread, which is also gluten and dairy free in the kitchen tonight and had to share the yumminess. It's super easy, healthy and so delicious. Your house will also smell incredible while baking this little yummy. Recipe below! Enjoy! Enjoy! Paleo Pumpkin Bread Ingredients:... 1 cup blanched almond flour teaspoon Himalayan sea salt teaspoon baking soda 1 tablespoon Pumpkin pie spice 1/2 tablespoon Cinnamon spice cup Organic canned pumpkin 2 tablespoons honey teaspoon stevia 3 large organic brown eggs Instructions: 1. In a mixing bowl- Combine almond flour, salt, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice and cinnamon spice 2. Add canned pumpkin, honey, stevia, and eggs and mix with a mixer for 2 minutes. 3. Spray a mini loaf pan with olive oil (To prevent bread from sticking to pan) 4. Scoop batter into pan 5. Bake @350 degrees for 35-45 minutes 6. Cool for 1 hour 7.
