While Seaport San Diego is many years away from breaking ground, the project team is making progress. Seaport San Diego, themed around ocean optimism, has evo...lved over the years. It currently envisions a mix of hotels including the signature one at the base of a 500-foot observation tower shops, water and land attractions, an education hub, a large conference and concert venue, and office space reserved for ocean research-related enterprises. Here are a few tips to mentally prepare for staging if you are a seller: Let the Home Speak to a Wide-Range of Buyers: Please don’t take staging recommendations personally. Your home is personal, and it has a collection of items and design choices that speak to you and your family. The goal of staging is to make the home speak to everyone else in a compelling and positive way. It is best to eliminate ALL possible distractions boldly colored wa...lls, personal photos, evidence of your collections, etc. Remove All Clutter: That coffee machine on the kitchen counter, those car keys next to the front door, that bathroom with toiletries on display all of that should go. It perpetrates distraction and sends a message you don’t have enough space. Make sure to completely declutter. Don’t Shoot the Stager: A third party specialist can bring neutrality and objectivity to getting your home ready. It’s an inconvenience to be sure, but if they think half of your furniture needs to go to the garage for a short time, try to keep an open mind. Focus on the goal get the most amount of money in the shortest amount of time.
